At DDBS, we believe that it is essential to undertake extensive Research and Development to establish a strong basis for any collection.  Our team sources and develops the latest trims, fabrics, finishes and washes for every upcoming collection at least 18 - 24 months before the start of any season.  They take advantage of our extensive network of mills in India and around the world so that they can execute their customer’s vision.

The design process follows after the extensive research done by our team.  We let our designers run free with their imagination while designing a collection.  But the process does have a methodology to it.  Following the research, deep trend analysis is done to finalize the upcoming collection.  Following the trend analysis, we take advantage of our network of suppliers and mills to conduct fabric research.  Our designers then use these inputs and sketch their designs and start creating the collection. 

We also work very closely with the design teams of our buyers to fulfill their creative and design requirements.  Our aim is to seamlessly work with our customer’s in-house design teams and enhance their product and at the same time maintain their brand DNA.

We have an extensive network of compliant factories that can meet every customer’s requirement.  We provide our customers with the most suitable factories depending on their product and order.  With our network of factories there is unlimited capacity and we can meet every requirement of our customers regardless of the quantity required.  We know the strengths and weaknesses of all the factories and accordingly allocate production.

Our Quality Assurance team monitors the production process at every stage.  From the early stage our quality assurance team starts working on technical requirements.  They take care of each requirement and specification of our customers, even before the production starts. Our team is onsite at the factory and monitors every detail. Right from pre-production, in-line, final inspections and AQL 1.5. Our process is very transparent and our customers are kept updated with complete visibility and control as needed. Our team not only monitors the factories but visits our customers to regularly discuss their requirements to further improve efficiencies.
